Crap's Favorite Films: Requiem For A Dream (2000)

Image
Yeah, my blog wasn't just dedicated to music. It was also dedicated to any media, such as movies. Yeah, I love movies, and I do believe they are my passion. So for something new, I'll start to talk about movies that are up there as my absolute favorites of all time. Starting with a very controversial one, Darren Arronofsky's Requiem For A Dream. The film stars Jared Leto, before his 30 Seconds To Mars days, as Harry, a drug addict. His friend, Tyrone, played by  Marlon Wayans, and yes, THAT Marlon Wayans, is a drug dealer, and he also falls in love with Marion, played by Jennifer Connolly. However, the main plot kicks in with Harry's mother Sara, who's a lonely old widow, that begins to fall for diet pills, after believing she won something that'll make her go on a TV show, which was really, of course, a scam. However, the addictions for all of them kick in, and I will simply summarize everything as this: ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE, AND EVERYTHING FALLS TO COMP

Little Mix - Salute (2013) Review

So, let's begin the year with our first review. That is, of an album I've promised to review, but got to other albums first. This time, it's a popular U.K group known as Little Mix. Little Mix - Salute Released On:  November 8, 2013 (U.K) Ah, 2013. The year I discovered what a depression was...I mean,eh? But anyways, I chose these guys to compare to Fifth Harmony. To recap my review of their first album...I didn't like it. While the girls have talent, they relied on these diva-esqe personalities that made the album pretty hard to listen to. However, I've heard Little Mix was the better group. Before the album, I only knew, like, two songs from them. Also, why did I choose their second album, and not the 2015 one? Cause Ive heard this was their best album, or something. Now, do I agree they're better than Little Mix? Let's see. 1. Salute So to begin this album, we have the title track, which is..an empowerment anthem. Oh goody, it's

Music Venting #1: Julia Michaels

This is a new thing I want to do. Originally, I was gonna do a top 10 worst hits of 2017 list. However, it honestly felt like I was being too overly harsh on my rankings. Yet, I wanted to rant on artists I hate, A LOT. So I decided, why not create a blog dedicated to my rants or thoughts on music or anything else? So yeah, this is my first ever edition of Venting. You want to know what song annoyed me a lot from 2017? Issues. Yes, that song that's now a Grammy nominee for Single Of The Year. Ok, seriously, Single Of The Year? Really? This is the biggest load of nothing I've heard all year. I mean, there is nothing to get into at the song at all. I mean, we have this dysfunctional relationship, and yet, all Julia can say is that they both have issues....Seriously, this is BORING. This isn't some big emotional ballad. Fuck, even Taylor Swift in her Fearless days has more energy than this. I mean, fuck, how can something this boring get nominated for a..oh wait, this is t
